Nutrition

Each school has a team of cooks who provide a nutritious meal for the children each day. For many, this is their only meal of the day.

education

Education

Children ages preschool through high school have the opportunity to learn in a warm and engaging environment with teachers who care for them. Children learn the academic and life skills they need so they can grow up to thrive in their family, work, and community.

Spiritual

Children learn about and experience God’s love for them through interactive Bible stories, fun activities, singing, and discipleship in a school community that centers their hope and faith in Jesus.

safety

Safety

Our schools are not only a place of learning, they are a safe and welcoming place of belonging.

Clean Water

Clean drinking water is provided to our students at both of our Pre-K through 12th grade schools.

Hygiene

Most children come into the schools knowing very little about personal hygiene. They are taught the importance of washing their hands and other sanitary skills.

Why Liberia?

Liberia is one of the poorest countries in the world. Most of the country is still without electricity, sanitation, and running water after the 14 year civil war (1989-2003) destroyed the country.

The Ebola epidemic in 2014 – 2015 took more lives and further devastated the economy. More than half the population live below the national poverty line. Families struggle to provide for their daily needs, including
feeding their children and sending them to school.

Liberia has one of the highest levels of children not attending school. Of the children who are enrolled in school, many are overage in their grade level and are at higher risk for dropping out. The quality of education is poor and even unsafe due to the lack of trained teachers and corruption where teachers bribe students for higher grades.

Please help us reach the children of Liberia.
